Therapies
Physiotherapy can help to treat all manner of joint, muscle, spinal and nerve disorders, from post-operative care, sports injuries, neck and back pain and work related injury to name but a few. The initial session is normally 45 minutes and consists of a full assessment of the problem and development of a treatment plan. Treatment will normally also begin within this session. Subsequent visits are normally of 30 minutes duration. Our physiotherapists are highly experienced and can treat a wide range of problems. Osteopathy Osteopathy is the body of medicine that originally used strictly manipulative techniques for correcting somatic abnormalities believed to cause disease and inhibit recovery. Over the past decade, osteopathy has broadened to include soft tissue techniques as well as manipulation. Can help: neck and back pain, stiff joints, posture asymmetry Cranial Osteopathy The cranial approach of osteopathy is a very gentle, safe and effective treatment for babies and children. Specific gentle pressure is applied by the osteopath to support the inherent healing ability of the body to release its stresses and imbalances. Cranial osteopathy is also suitable for adults.
